Intumescent Joint Sealant
As per the requirements of the Dorset Model, an Intumescent Joint Sealant must be used in conjunction with TAS100 Thatch Fireboards to seal all joints where the fireboards meet.
Coverage – 1x 310ml for every 3 Thatch Fireboards is normally sufficient

As per the requirements of the Dorset Model and the test criteria of our Thatch Fireboard System, Intumescent Joint Sealant needs to be installed between every joint in the TAS00 Thatch Fireboards as per the instructions supplied.
